We have evaluated each website in approximately 60 different categories. Each firm starts out with a perfect score, and we deduct for common (and uncommon) mistakes. Also, our standards get higher each year, so firms that score high one year might not the next. For example, there are automatic deductions for this firm for having the same design as last year and for not having customized 404 (file not found) error handling (see "http://www.riker.com/redstreet.html"). Search engine output is among the best we've seen, and there are hundreds of articles and other pieces of substantive content here. Attorney profiles are good and would be better if they integrated with Martindale-Hubbell. Also, we'd include a link to the search engine in both navigation bars. Overall, still a strong site. |
