We used to like Shockwave for snappy and flashy splash screens. Now we like neither splash screens nor Shockwave. Splash screens do not work properly with offline browsers and assume too much about how users want to experience the site. And much of what is now being done with Shockwave can and should be done without this proprietary technology. This site uses Shockwave to provide animation and mouseover effects. Animation can be provided with animated graphics, mouseover effects with JavaScript. Disable your third-party plugins and this site is a one page "Legal Notices and Disclaimer." This makes our "top 10 indications your consultant has committed malpractice" list. The site is also thin on content, has no search engine, and has 15 broken links in its "Links" section. A comedy of errors.
