This site is strong for what it does and what it doesn't do. Great content, a good domain name, and listing the domain name in Martindale-Hubbell is a good start. But the firm also avoids cliches like "click here" and the like. A less obvious strength is the excellent 404 (file not found) handing, which you can see by entering "http://www.littler.com/redstreet.html." This is an especially important feature for newly redesigned sites (like this one) to implement, because many of your URLs (in public search engines and users' bookmark files) are likely to change. This firm traditionally earns our "killer content" label because of its vast array of online content related to its employment law focus. Be sure to check out "The National Employer(r)" handbooks and state supplements, searchable with a free subscription, in the "Resources" section. There is a search engine, but output could be better. Overall, still a strong site. No website is perfect, but this firm came out on top this year. |
