While we've often advised caution when using humor in a law firm web site, the only thing one can say after reading "Tales from the fridge" is "Bravo!" This is by far the weirdest, funniest, and most original content strategy we've ever seen in a law firm site... and though it really has nothing to do with law practice, it's just downright fun. And at some level, that sends a message that the firm doesn't take itself too seriously (try and imagine some of the law firms you've dealt with putting these stories on its site), is creative, and doesn't mind taking the road less traveled. That message no doubt resonates with some clients. The site itself contains articles which are current (and much more substantial than those on many other sites), but they lose points for presentation (articles are inconsistently presented, and navigation options are sometimes confusing). |
