A Java applet and scrolling text. We have yet to see a need for (or a good application of) Java on a law firm website. And for security reasons, we advise clients to surf the web with Java off. (We turn Java on for these reviews only.) This home page simply does not convey a professional image. Navigation is inconsistent. For example, there is a search engine, but it's not included in the main navigation bar. Which is too bad because search engine output is very good. Publications are squirreled away in the "In The Public Eye" section (which is in the "podium" directory, just to confuse matters further). |
