A better approach is to configure DNS properly so that the extra step of the redirect is not needed. The home page for this site does a lot right. The firm's name is prominent, site structure is clear, and graphics are professional. If your firm is compelled to use a splash page (which we don't like), we'd recommend instead doing something like this, which has the same effect. The site has a logical directory structure, and lists are arranged logically. Page layout could be better with more creative use of fonts. There are a couple of quizzes online in the "A Little Diversion" section. We'd add include a search engine, bookmark-friendly titles, and more substantive content. |
