But even more troubling is that the firm's domain name is not registered in the name of the firm. So that if you search the InterNIC's registered domain name database (www.internic.net) for "Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP," you won't find this firm. Practice areas were listed under "Legal Services," but those pages did not link to the associated pages in the "Publications" section, which made finding related content difficult. And the "Publications" section included some pages that were under construction and others with forms to request the actual publications. A better approach is to actually publish substantive content online and not make people jump through hoops to get it. A "Links" page was included, but a better approach would be to include a link to FindLaw. An offsite (www.netcreations.com) search engine was included, but a simple search returned an error due to what appeared to be a configuration error. Graphics were sub-par, and page layout lacked a professional look-and-feel. |
