What a pleasure to view a home page that does everything right. Minimal graphics, excellent use of white space, text and navigation elements that are consistent, and a clearly stated theme: "California's Business Law Firm." Inside, the designers have paid attention to font selection and page layout, elements often overlooked. Only bookmark-friendly titles are not used (which affects the usability of bookmarked pages and search engine output). But this is a small complaint. A bigger complaint is the undisclosed (and in our opinion, unnecessary) use of cookies. The attorney profile search engine was very slow, but the profiles themselves were very nice. A handful of 1998 publications were online under "Articles." But no clear content strategy was articulated. Search engine output was among the best we've seen.
