Welcome to our review of Ross & Hardies. The home page featured sub-par graphics and a 1996 copyright notice, so we lowered our expectations about what was inside. Besides the navigation bar on the home page (to which we had to repeatedly return) there were no navigational elements on the site. And under "Firm Information," we learned that attorney profiles were "coming soon." It took us all of a couple seconds to go the Martindale-Hubbell Lawyer Locator (http://lawyers.martindale.com/marhub) and enter "Ross Hardies" to find 152 attorney profiles, free for the linking. We're puzzled why more firms don't link to these profiles that they've already paid for. The "Publications" section was a combination of links to a dozen or so online publications as well as bibliographical listing of articles that could be requested by e-mail. We think that the better approach is to publish all available articles online and work on some content strategy that makes users come back for more. And we found no search engine.
