That's fine if you want your users to wait, but with a little bit stripping, better performance can and should be achieved. This West FirmSite includes little creative elements on the home page that would make it stand out from the crowd. If you want to sign up to receive paper copies of the firm's newsletters, than the "Newsletters & Publications" section is for you. But if you're looking for online content, keep looking. There are some articles online (we counted nine), but it's a laundry list in no clear order. Nine publications, over 150 attorneys. Hmm. We'd lose the "Web Site Links" section in favor of a single link to FindLaw. There is a search engine, but it only returns the titles of found pages. This is why bookmark-friendly titles should be part of every Web site design. |
