Excellent crisp graphics, a simple logical site structure, good use of white space, and professional page layout combine to make an excellent first impression. Bookmark-friendly titles are used throughout, and a simple red triangle next to the navigation bar provides the visual feedback that tells us both where we are in the site and where we can go. Under "Areas of Practice," we'd lose the SHOUTING, but this is a small complaint. The layout of the attorney profile pages was among the best we've seen, and the combination resume/narrative style was used effectively. The "Legal Base" section (which we might rename "Publications") includes nearly 200 articles on a variety of legal topics. We'd suggest moving the search engine to the navigation bar in addition to including it in the "Legal Base" section. Search engine output was excellent and included summary information, titles, and file names for the found pages.
