The home page features sub-par graphics, the cliche of an animated "New!" gif, and HTML with a do-it-yourself feel. Our first impression is not of a first class law firm. Attorney profiles use the narrative style effectively, but little creativity is shown in page layout and font selection. In addition, bookmark-friendly titles are not used. There are no navigational elements to speak of. We had to repeatedly return to the home page to access the site's major sections. Each major practice group had some substantive content online, and the health law group seemed to have more than most. But the absence of a "Publications" section made it difficult for us to see just how much content was on the site. Plus there was no search engine to help us. |
