The home page takes a little longer to load than we'd like, but the theme presented is certainly unique. An image of a jungle and the text "IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE ... You need pathfinders and protectors" set the theme for the site. The scrolling text on the home page was distracting and added no value. Inside, the jungle theme continued, but the text elements (font selection and page layout) didn't match up to the graphics. There was no link to attorney profiles in the navigation bar. We found them under "About P&E." Profiles presented basic information but lacked polish. "The Library" section included summaries of Federal Circuit cases and a handful of articles written by P&E attorneys. The non-intuitively labeled "World Wide" section includes firm summaries written in a variety of languages. We're not sure how users are supposed to guess that this information exists here. And for those who are fans of large disclaimers, check out the one on this site. The two-frame presentation worked well, but we've move the search engine link to the navigation bar. The search engine produced good output, but it took us a while to figure out that excerpts from each found page (those that included our search terms) were included for each found page.
