| The color scheme of the home page makes the text difficult to read. And the globe/space theme is overused, so we'd suggest avoiding it. Attorney profiles omitted key information like the attorney's photograph, e-mail address, and phone number. Also, the font used for the profiles didn't match the font used for the rest of the site. The "Publications" section included no publications but was merely a list of articles by or about the firm. That page contained this offer: "For copies of any of these articles, please send e-mail including: Name; Address; Company; Phone Number; Type of Business; to Peabody & Brown's Webmaster." We're guessing not many users will take the webmaster up on the offer. The "Legal Links" page, under "Resources," includes links to other Web sites, and we're guessing that users will opt for the off-site links. And the newest piece of information in the "Firm News" section was dated 1997. If you want to find out where the firm is located, this site is for you. But if you're looking for some reason to return to this site, keep looking. |
