Here's an example where a good domain name still has a problem. Lingbeck and Neustel own "patent-ideas.com" but do not own "patentideas.com." As a result, anyone who remembers the domain name but forgets the hyphen (and we bet that happens often) will pull up a blank Web site. Strangely enough, "patentideas.com" was available when the firm registered the hyphenated version. In our opinion, it's worth the extra $100 to eliminate any confusion. That aside, the content here is quite good. This is the only site we've seen to actually publish their fees. Since their practice area is often dominated by cost-conscious (i.e., poor) inventors, knowing the costs up front is no doubt a Good Thing for both parties. Inventors will find plenty of useful information, although all of the links in the top left ("Invention Scams", "Weird Patent of the Month", etc.) are intriguing but sadly are also all under construction.
