| I'm a pretty fast reader, but I couldn't read the pop-up text that appeared (and then quickly disappeared) as I pointed to four Picasso-like graphics (Presence, Chemistry, Vision, and Access) on the home page. Usually mouseover effects like these are reserved for links, but these four graphics link to nothing. A non-intuitive feedback device. From the home page, it's also clear that MWE has jumped on the "Year 2000" bandwagon. Attorney profiles were browseable by last name, city, and practice area. For those who might be more likely to remember a first name, adding a "browse by first name" section would make this section complete. The navigation bar was simple, elegant, and effective, with both text-based and graphics-based elements. We especially like the fact that several of the firm's newsletters are available online, and the newsletters are one click away from the home page. So not only do you know from page one that there is good content here, but you can easily find it again when you return. A search engine would be a nice addition, and the newsletter page itself could use some reorganization. |
