The striking presentation of the home page is unfortunately not carried out throughout the site. The construction of some of the inner pages is more than a bit muddled. That notwithstanding, you can't fault the designers for trying to do things a little differently. This is a Minnesota law firm, and one nice touch to the Web site is their use of a "Calendar" both to market (as in "Look at all the places we're speaking") to new clients and to service existing clients (as in "Here's how you can learn some more about your situation"). Generally, a page of links is unnecessary (just provide a link to FindLaw), but if you do include them, make sure to describe what the link is. If somebody hasn't been to Law Journal Extra (and is a non-lawyer to boot), then why would they click on it without knowing what it is?
