| What we liked most about this site was its articles organization (under "What's new"). Recognizing that many people need dates to figure out whether or not the information is worth reading (for example, a "Supreme Court Labor Law update" is worth reading if it is from the latest term; if it's from 1995 it is probably worthless), the firm presents its extensive articles list topically, then adds the dates next to each article. By skimming the list, you see that not only are there a lot of articles here, but many are from the past few months. Most newsletters are in PDF format, but unlike many other firms, Hughes Hubbard & Reed's newsletters are professionally formatted (so the PDF format does them justice). Attorney profiles are decent (they include contact info), and other information (about the firm, offices, practice group descriptions, etc.) is well-presented. While the presentation is not exceptional, but with the amount of content and attention to detail that Hughes Hubbard & Read pay, the site doesn't suffer. |
