Size of the image on the home page notwithstanding (more on that in a moment), the first impression one gets when visiting Foley Hoag & Eliot's site is quite positive. The image itself is over 100k - which takes almost a full minute to load on a 28.8 modem - and could easily be made smaller without sacrificing any image quality (this process is known as "bit stripping"). The site has dramatically improved its navigation options - a navigation bar in the top left corner of each page makes it easy to jump from section to section. Content is good - articles are up to date, though it takes a few too many clicks to get to them. Perhaps a page that features a few of the most recent in each practice area (with dates, of course) would make the articles more accessible.
