We thought the splash screen (which provides the opportunity to click on "Information for Law Students") was just a recruiting technique... but dig deeper and you'll find that the site exists solely as a recruiting vehicle. It would be interesting to learn why the firm excludes clients and prospective clients from this site - one would assume they would also have an interest in finding information. Nevertheless, as a recruiting site, Cravath's site works well. We are not impressed with so much text in the form of graphics - it simply increases download time. But the information is useful, geared to a specific audience, and current.
