A good first impression is weakened, somewhat, when we ventured further: we were not happy to see that content under newsletters is spotty (some are no more recent than 1996). However, the presentation of those newsletters that are here is outstanding - instead of just dumping the text onto a page, some care went into preserving the look and feel of a newsletter: meaning that anyone who prints these out will see a professional document, instead of something that looks like it came out of a typewriter. The attorney directory is excellent, though it uses a completely different presentation than the rest of the site - which is slightly confusing. A subtle touch on the "Feedback" form: users can fill out a form to submit feedback to the firm. What's impressive is that users have the option at that time of signing up to receive future issues of the firm's newsletters - which is a great technique for capturing those leads. Other firms should take note of this idea. |
