Last year we learned about Gomez's law ("If you don't throw it, they can't hit it."), and this year we learned about several famous ex-lawyers (Mel Allen, Howard Cosell, Julio Iglesias, and Ozzie Nelson among others). Hats off to the firm for providing unusual content that encourages visitors to stick around a while. Occasionally frames can be used well, but in this case the same effect could be achieved using tables - and some screen space could be saved and pages would be easier to bookmark. We applaud the firm's inclusion of "Publications" as a major subsection, but wonder why the majority of the content listed here is not available online - if the article is worthy of mentioning on the site, shouldn't it also be worthy of inclusion on the site? (And reprint permission - especially when the requester is the author - is rarely withheld by publishers, so that can't be the reason.) We continue to like this site, but would like to see more information available. |
