| No, it's not a radio station. It is, however, a law firm with a great home page: elegant graphics, simple layout, good use of white space. Our expectations were set high after seeing the home page. Inside, however, we were disappointed. The home page uses old server-side imagemap technology. The ñwhatÍs newî section contains documents related to various high-tech lawsuits, but the presentation leaves many questions unanswered. Are these cases in which the firm is involved? How new is new? (The ñwhatÍs newî page lack dates.) And why is info published in browser-hostile PDF format? The ñattorney profilesî subpage includes an 18 K A-Z listing of the firmÍs many attorneys - also not a user-friendly presentation. A few 1996 newsletters were online, but they could stand to be broken up into smaller Web-friendly chunks. There is a search engine, but its interface is clunky. There is some good substantive content buried under ñlegal resourcesî (and then by legal topic), but these were not cross-linked from ñWSGR Publicationsî (where weÍd expect to find them), and many were undated. If the information on this site were rearranged, there might be some reason to come back. For now, there is not. |
