| We like the layout of this site. Right off the bat, visitors see not only their choices in browsing the site ("U.S. Offices," "About Our Firm," "Practice Areas," "Links," and "Our FTP"), but they also see each of the practice areas listed down the left side. This manages to show off how large the firm is without screaming it. The graphic design is subtle and professional, and the colors work well together and provide a good framework for presenting the content. The content itself is decent, but ultimately ends up being little more than a firm brochure. There are no publications online, and the attorney bios are brief two- or three-sentence descriptions of the partners. This is one of the few law firms we've seen to boast an FTP archive. The idea is to provide clients with an area in which they can upload files, and interested readers can browse the documents in the download area. Unfortunately, the FTP machine was down when we visited. File and directory structure on this site is top notch. Someone at this firm is clearly a fan of good taxonomy. |
