The choices that must have been made in the design of this site are puzzling. The background image - a 46 K multi-colored "white noise" pattern - is about as distracting a background as we've ever seen. On the surface, the layout of the site is good, and many of the distinguishing characteristics that mark a good Web site are there. The graphic navbar coupled with a text-based version, a logo that appears throughout the site to assist in "branding" the site, and sections covering topics like practice areas, recruiting, and attorney bios. The sum of the parts, however, is much less than it could be. The graphics are far from professional and often take up too much space (and coupled with the awkward background, the overall look and feel of this site is poor). In doing an overhaul, attention will need to be paid not only to the images, but also to the HTML, which is inconsistent and poorly laid out.
