| No, itÍs not a cola. Under "Legal News," Robinson & Cole tell us that "we feel a little knowledge goes a long way, we endeavor to keep our clients apprised of new developments at the federal, state and municipal level." Below that, there is exactly one link to their "The Law and the Land," an environmental newsletter. Problem is, there is not a single date to be found in TLOTL, which makes relying on it (even for informational purposes) unwise. Is it from this summer? Last spring? On to the "Outside Links," where they tell us they've put together "just a few" of the law-related sites they've found on the Internet. They're not kidding: they list four (for the record: the ABA, LJX, New York State Bar Association, and West Bar Review). The site is all but devoid of content: "practice areas" merits one page with brief descriptions of their expertise. We do like the graphic theme throughout, and the text-based navigation aids are helpful (and would be more so if there were more content to navigate). This is a good foundation, but the site needs content if it is to be useful to clients or prospective clients. |
