| A professionally-designed site, Miles & Stockbridge's Web site is an excellent example of how a site can effectively market the firm's abilities. (In addition, the site is a great testimonial to Microsoft FrontPage as an authoring tool.) The graphics are striking, they load quickly, and they are consistent throughout. Links to the site map allow visitors to see the entire site laid out, and the graphical navigation bar at the bottom of every page allows for quick navigation throughout the site. Contact info is located under "Inquiries." We'd like to see at least a phone number and address on the home page for quicker reference. The publications are well laid out and easily read online, however they have not been updated since the site's initial release (most are dated between December, 1996 and February, 1997). Surprisingly enough, the firm did not include any attorney bios, though this is remedied somewhat by including a link to their Martindale-Hubbell listing where visitors can then browse the firm's 185 lawyers. |
