Other than the fact that it's 75 K, this professionally designed home page graphic is quite nice. However, unlike most of the other large images that we've seen, this one does not serve as an imagemap. Graphics on subpages could also be bit-stripped so that they are optimized for the Web. In fact, we had to turn graphics off half way through this review to make navigation bearable at 28.8 Kbps. Under "publications" are various firm newsletters, but they are available only in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Acrobat is a good supplemental format for some purposes, but it does not make a good primary format, and it is certainly not the ideal format for Web browsing. And many of the subpages could stand to be broken up into more browseable chunks. Attorney profiles were nowhere to be found.
