A scrolling text JavaScript applet and an animated GIF add no function or value to the home page, and they distract our attention from an otherwise thoughtfully designed home page. The home page employs a creative newspaper-like style that combines short narratives of the siteÍs major sections with links to areas in each major section. And the annoying JavaScript applet appears on the subpages as well! Only a couple of articles were available online. And more than once we had to return to the home page to get our bearings, because site navigation elements didn't show us where we were or where we'd been. If attorney profiles were there, we couldn't find them, and there was no search engine to help us. This is a good example of an over-designed under-developed site that is more form than function.
