The sub-title on the main graphic on the home page says "on the Internet's World-Wide Web at www.kirkland.com." Now while "the Internet's Web" is redundant, this is a good example of why it is important to include your firm's URL on your home page. If somebody prints out your home page (rather than, say, bookmarking it), and they haven't set up their browser to print the URL of the page in the header or footer, then they'll still be able to know how to get back to your site (assuming your URL is listed on the page). The "return to top of page" button is almost illegible, and the navigation bar would look nicer without the border. Attorney profiles are merely links to the firm's Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory listing. No supplemental narratives are provided. And the site is not 640x480 monitor friendly. Much to our chagrin, the "publications" section was under construction, so there was little content to compel us to visit again.
