The home page looks like frames, but it's not, and the color-coded navigation elements are effective. Plus the graphics appear to be professionally developed. Of course, the disadvantage of not using frames is that the graphically-rich navigation bar has to be reloaded with each new page view, which slows down site navigation. The site is friendly to 640x480 displays, which we appreciate. Navigation would be aided by changing the word "home" on the navigation menu to "home/search" to remind us that the home page is also the search page. As a firm brochure, this site really sings. But unless we missed it (and I doubt we did, because the site is so well organized), there were no memos, articles, or newsletters online. Content is still king, especially if you want users to return to your site. |
