The home page states that it is running "NCSA HTTPd v 1.5a on a Sun SPARCstation2," thus taking all of the guesswork out of it for hackers. Other than that, the home page contains a nice simple graphic, with the site's sections clearly identified, and a short overview of the firm and what's new on the site. Although if one more word were added to the home page, we'd probably say it was too wordy. Plus we prefer client-side imagemaps over old server-side imagemaps. The search interface (unlike many) provides summary information for each of the found pages. The "attorney listing" page (67 K) was much too long, the attorney profiles themselves too short. A fantastic feature of this site is newsletters (covering such areas as banking, securities, and lending law) that are available online and by e-mail subscription. We wish more firms would provide services via e-mail. But don't be fooled by the "published articles" section, because none of those are actually available on the site, but client memos on various topics are available.
